FAQ – Aqualetics wird zu Aqualetics by Basel Aquatics ab 1. Januar 2026

1. Was passiert ab dem 1. Januar 2026?

Aqualetics wird von Basel Aquatics übernommen und heisst neu Aqualetics by Basel Aquatics. Das Angebot in der Schwimmhalle Birsfelden bleibt bestehen.

 

2. Bleiben die Kurse und Zeiten gleich?

Ja. Alle Kurse, Zeiten und Angebote laufen wie gewohnt weiter.

 

 

3. Bleibt das Trainerteam bestehen?

Der grösste Teil des Teams bleibt wie bisher im Einsatz. Alle bisherigen Mitarbeitenden und Coaches können – sofern gewünscht – wie gewohnt weiterarbeiten.
Unser Ziel ist, dass ihr weiterhin von euch vertrauten Coaches betreut werdet.

 

 

4. Wer leitet den Kursbetrieb in der Schwimmhalle Birsfelden?

Die Leitung des Kurbetriebs in der Schwimmhalle Birsfelden bleibt wie bisher bei Seraina Bussmann, die diese Aufgabe bereits seit mehreren Monaten erfolgreich ausübt.

 

 

5. Muss ich mich neu anmelden oder etwas umstellen?

Nein. Ihr müsst nichts tun.
Alle bestehenden Buchungen bleiben gültig.

 

 

6. Gibt es Preisänderungen?

Nein. Es sind keine kurzfristigen Preisänderungen geplant.
Sollte sich in Zukunft etwas ändern, informieren wir transparent und frühzeitig.

 

 

7. Welche Vorteile habe ich als Kundin / Kunde?

  • Ein grösseres und vielfältigeres Angebot

  • Mehr Stabilität durch eine grössere Organisation

  • Weiterhin gleiche Schwimmhalle und eine vertraute Leitung vor Ort

  • Zugang zu zusätzlichen Angeboten und Expertise von Basel Aquatics

8. Warum passiert der Zusammenschluss?

Damit wir die Qualität, Vielfalt und Stabilität unseres Angebots weiter stärken können.
Aqualetics und Basel Aquatics teilen dieselben Werte und ergänzen sich ideal.

 

 

9. Wer ist Basel Aquatics?

Basel Aquatics ist eine der grössten Schwimmorganisationen der Region Basel, aktiv im Kinder-, Erwachsenen-, Breiten- und Vereinssport.

 

 

10. Was bedeutet das für die Zukunft von Aqualetics?

Aqualetics bleibt bestehen – einfach mit neuen Möglichkeiten, zusätzlichen Ressourcen und einer starken Organisation im Rücken.

 

 

11. Bleibt Sandrine weiterhin involviert?

Ja. Sandrine bleibt beratend an Bord und arbeitet gemeinsam mit Basel Aquatics an neuen Projekten und der Weiterentwicklung des Schwimmsports in der Schweiz.

 

 

12. Was muss ich jetzt tun?

Grundsätzlich: nichts. Alles läuft weiter wie gewohnt. Hier sind spezifische Informationen zu deinem Angebot:

Für Aquafitness- und Erwachsenenkurs-/Training-Kund:innen:

  • Die bestehenden Kurse laufen wie gewohnt weiter, bis vor den Weihnachtsferien.

  • Die neuen Kurse starten ab dem 1. Januar 2026. Die Ausschreibung erscheint bereits unter dem Namen Aqualetics by Basel Aquatics.

  • Du kannst dich Anfang/Mitte Dezember wie gewohnt neu für die Kurse ab 1. Januar 2026 anmelden.

  • Abos laufen automatisch weiter, ausser du kündigst dein Abo wie bisher. Lässt du dein Abo weiterlaufen, werden deine Daten von Aqualetics by Aquatics Basel übernommen.

Für Kinderkurse und Elki-Kurse, sowie Privatunterricht:

  • Wenn du einen Kurs mit Start ab 24. November 2025 unter „Aqualetics“ gebucht hast, dann startet dieser normal ab 24. November 2025 und er wird einfach ab 1. Januar 2026 unter Aqualetics by Basel Aquatics weiterlaufen.

  • Falls der Wechsel ab dem 1.1.2026 für dich in Ordnung ist, musst du nichts tun.

    • Deine Anmeldung läuft automatisch weiter. Dein Kind besucht den Kurs einfach weiter.

    • Die dafür notwendigen Daten werden an Aqualetics by Basel Aquatics übergeben, damit dein Kurs wie gewohnt fortgeführt werden kann.

  • Falls du NICHT möchtest, dass dein Kurs unter Aqualetics by Basel Aquatics weiterläuft, kannst du uns das bis zum 5. Dezember 2025 schriftlich per E-Mail (info@aqualetics.ch) mitteilen.

    • In diesem Fall ist deine Anmeldung für den Kurs bis und mit 19. Dezember 2025 gültig. Danach wird dein Kursplatz storniert.

    • Deine Daten werden nicht an Aqualetics by Basel Aquatics übergeben.

    • Dein Kursplatz wird gelöscht und wieder freigegeben.

 

 

13. Was passiert mit meinem Guthaben oder Gutscheinen?

Wenn ihr auf eurem Kundenkonto noch Guthaben habt oder Gutscheine, dann bleiben diese auch nach dem 01.01.2026 bestehen und können weiterhin für Angebote von Aqualetics by Basel Aquatics genutzt werden.

Falls ihr euer Guthaben oder eure Gutscheine zurückbezahlt haben möchtet, meldet euch bitte bis zum 5. Dezember 2025 schriftlich per E-Mail mit euren Kontodaten an:

14. Was passiert mit möglichen Dauerrabatten?

Kunden mit Dauerrabatten werden von uns in den nächsten Tagen individuell kontaktiert und über das weitere Vorgehen informiert.

1. What will happen as of January 1, 2026?

Aqualetics will be taken over by Basel Aquatics and will be renamed Aqualetics by Basel Aquatics.
The range of courses and activities at the Birsfelden swimming hall will continue.

2. Will the courses and times stay the same?

Yes. All courses, times and services will continue as usual.

3. Will the coaching team remain the same?

Most of the team will continue as before. All current staff and coaches can, if they wish, carry on in their roles.
Our goal is that you continue to be looked after by the coaches you already know and trust.

4. Who will be in charge of the course operations at the Birsfelden swimming hall?

Responsibility for the course operations at the Birsfelden swimming hall will remain with Seraina Bussmann, who has been successfully managing this role for several months already.

5. Do I need to re-register or change anything?

No. You do not need to do anything.
All existing bookings remain valid.

6. Will there be any price changes?

No. There are no short-term price changes planned.
If anything changes in the future, we will inform you transparently and in good time.

7. What are the benefits for me as a customer?

  • A larger and more diverse range of courses

  • Greater stability thanks to a larger organisation

  • The same swimming hall and familiar management on site

  • Access to additional offers and the expertise of Basel Aquatics

In short: more possibilities – without you losing anything.

8. Why is this merger happening?

Our aim is to further strengthen the quality, diversity and stability of our programmes.
Aqualetics and Basel Aquatics share the same values and complement each other perfectly.

9. Who is Basel Aquatics?

Basel Aquatics is one of the largest aquatic organisations in the Basel region, active in children’s, adult, recreational and club/competitive swimming.

10. What does this mean for the future of Aqualetics?

Aqualetics will continue to exist – simply with new opportunities, additional resources and a strong organisation behind it.

11. Will Sandrine remain involved?

Yes. Sandrine will remain on board in an advisory role and will work together with Basel Aquatics on new projects and on further developing swimming in Switzerland.

12. What do I need to do now?

Basically: nothing. Everything continues as usual.
Below you’ll find specific information depending on the type of course you’re attending:

For Aquafitness and adult course/training customers:

  • The current courses will continue as usual until the Christmas holidays.

  • New courses will start from January 1, 2026. These courses will already be advertised under the name Aqualetics by Basel Aquatics.

  • You can register for the new courses starting January 1, 2026 as usual in early/mid-December.

  • Subscriptions (Abos) will continue automatically, unless you cancel your subscription as you normally would.

    • If you keep your subscription running, your data will be transferred to Aqualetics by Basel Aquatics.

For children’s courses, parent–child (Elki) courses, and private lessons:

  • If you have booked a course starting from November 24, 2025 under “Aqualetics”, it will start as normal on November 24, 2025 and will simply continue from January 1, 2026 under Aqualetics by Basel Aquatics.

  • If the change from January 1, 2026 is fine for you, you do not need to do anything.

    • Your registration will continue automatically.

    • Your child simply keeps attending the course.

    • The necessary data will be transferred to Aqualetics by Basel Aquatics so that the course can be continued as usual.

  • If you do NOT want your course to continue under Aqualetics by Basel Aquatics, you can let us know by December 5, 2025 in writing by email (info@aqualetics.ch).

    • In this case, your registration will remain valid for the course up to and including December 19, 2025. After that date, your place in the course will be cancelled.

    • Your data will not be transferred to Aqualetics by Basel Aquatics.

    • Your course place will be deleted and made available to someone else.

13. What happens to my credit or vouchers?

If you still have credit in your customer account or vouchers, they will remain valid after January 1, 2026 and can still be used for services offered by Aqualetics by Basel Aquatics.

If you would like to have your credit or vouchers refunded, please contact us by December 5, 2025 in writing by email with your bank account details at:

14. What happens to any long-term discounts?

Customers with long-term discounts will be contacted individually in the coming days and informed about the next steps.
